Oveyon delivers SMTP for applications on a mail transfer agent that Akamind deploys and operates itself. Inbound and outbound routing, queue handling and bounce handling, and a control panel for domains, keys and delivery logs. When something must arrive, you want the people who own the queue.

Why an operated MTA matters

Because Akamind runs the mail transport rather than reselling somebody else's, queues, retries, sending reputation and reverse DNS are configured by Akamind. Addressing, routing and DNS are managed in-house by the same organisation that operates the product.
